This has been another wonderful year for Coláiste Cois Life and the Sky Sports Living for Sport Programme. This year both our teachers Áine Nic Cionnaith and Máire Ní Dhúill were nominated and shortlisted for Teacher of the Year, Máire was also nominated by Irish Athlete Brian Gregan for the outstanding contribution award. Our project was nominated and shortlisted for Project of the Year and both our pupils Micheál Bollard and Cian Mac Eochaidh were nominated for Student of the Year.
There was huge excitement when Micheál Bollard was announced as the overall Winner for the Republic Of Ireland ‘Student of the Year’. This is a huge Achievement for both Micheál and Coláiste Cois Life. Micheál will now fly to Twickenham in June where he will attend an Award Ceremony and get the chance to meet various famous athletes. Micheál breaks boundaries on a daily basis and here at Coláiste Cois Life we can think of no one better to have won this award. We wish Micheál the very best in Twickenham!
