Bhí lá álainn ag scoláirí Ceol na hArdteiste inniu sa Cheoláras Náisiúnta ag éisteacht leis an gCeolfhoireann Shiansach Náisiúnta a sheinn Réamhcheol Romeo agus Juliet le Tchaikovsky, píosa atá ar chúrsa na hArdteiste. Rinne Jessie Grimes cur i láthair iontach i dtosach le cur síos ar théamaí lárnacha an tsaothair le hanailís sonrach agus liricí chun cabhrú linn staidéar a dhéanamh. Ba bhealach deas é céiliúradh a dhéanamh ar an scrúdú praiticiúil a bheith déanta acu inné! Comhghairdeas leo go léir!
Our Leaving Cert Music students had a lovely day at the National Concert Hall today listening to the National Symphony Orchestra perform the Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture by Tchaikovsky, one of the set works on the Leaving Cert course. Jessie Grimes gave a brilliant presentation with descriptions of the central themes and a detailed analysis with lyrics to help us study! It was a nice way to celebrate the practical exams being done yesterday. Congratulations to them all!
