Tá an roinn tíreolaíochta ag eagrú turais ag an íoslainn don scoil bhliain 2017-2018.
Bhíomar ann dhá bhliain ó shin agus bhí an turas thar barr. Déanann scoláirí tíreolaíochta staidéar ar an Íoslainn mar sin beidh sé an-usáideach do scoláirí ag tabhairt faoin ardteist.Níl an turas curtha in áireamh go fóill mar braitheann sé ar an éileamh. Tá sé i gceist againn cuireadh a thabhairt do scoláirí a bheidh i mbliain a sé, a cúig agus bliain a ceathair an bhliain seo chugainn dul ar an turas. Ón taighde atá déanta againn go dtí seo an costas a bheadh i gceist ná thart ar €820. Tá sé i gceist againn taisteal i mí na Samhna nó Feabhra (Briseadh Meán Téarma). Beidh a thuilleadh sonraí ar fáil go luath.
The Geography Department is organising a trip to Iceland in 2017-2018. We travelled to Iceland two years ago and had an excellent trip. Students study the type of landscape found in Iceland in Geography class for the Leaving Cert. The tour has not been booked as yet as it depends on demand from students. Students from sixth, fifth and fourth year 2017-2018 are eligible to apply for a place on the trip. From the research we have done so far the cost will be approximately €820 (inclusive of taxes and charges and travel insurance). The intention is to travel either in November or February (during the mid-term break). More information will follow shortly.
